How I started
If you would have told me 3 years ago that my passion was going to be photography, I would have called you crazy. At that time, I was studying Architecture at Cal Berkeley and had aspirations of designing buildings and forms to change the way people experienced space. More specifically I was interested in creating a better alternative than cardboard and shopping carts for the bay area homeless.
After being forced to create my own content for a couple successful Kickstarter projects, I realized that I didn’t have to design large scale physical spaces. I fell in love with designing smaller scale products that people could use no matter where in the world they were. I soon discovered that marketing these projects was only possible through great photography and video content, so I invested in some gear to showcase my designs. Little did I know, I was about to love photographing my stuff, just as much as designing it.
Fast forward 3 years, and I now create images for other brands. My success comes from showcasing these human made products in natural environments to give contrast between the machine made and the nature made landscapes. I’m currently exploring the world of Ariel photography and the beyond obvious applications.
